Taryn Kim Westover

Kim was born in Houston, Texas, and showed remarkable resilience despite being born with Spina Bifida. She graduated from Klein High School in 1974 and Liberty University in 1991 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Kim lived a life full of adventure, traveling to 47 states and seven countries. She helped start and operate DuCar, a tour company specializing in Holy Land tours, and was an accomplished artist and makeup artist. She was deeply committed to her faith and community service, advocating for others and sharing her love for life. Kim's positive outlook and loving spirit made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She cherished her family, friends, and church community. Her service celebrating her life will be held at Thomas Road Baptist Church on May 27, 2026.
