Terry Lee "Jack" Whitaker

Terry Lee “Jack” Whitaker, 59, of Alpine, AL passed away at his home on May 16, 2026 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Born January 10, 1967, Terry was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.

Terry is survived by his wife, Denora; his children, Kristy Marks (Thomas) of Jasper, AL, Misty Allred (Kyle) of Jasper, AL, Tyler Whitaker of Marionville, MO, and bonus daughter Lynsey Patterson (Ryan) of Sycamore, AL; his nephew Troy Whitaker (Angela) of Childersburg, AL; and his brother Jimmy Whitaker.

Terry cherished his grandchildren, Madison Allred (Jonah), Adam Allred, Jordyn Long, Tanner Whitaker, Laney Marks, and bonus grandson Ethan Ellis. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind one great grandson, Rhylan Allred.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Judy Whitaker of Bowling Green, KY, and his brother Billy Whitaker of Sylacauga, AL.

A celebration of life service will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel in Sylacauga, AL on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
