Thomas J. Surchik was born on June 18, 1940 and passed away on August 31, 2026He was born in Chicago and had 4 siblings. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany. Tom married the love of his life, Barb in November, 1963. Together they shared a lifetime of love, devotion and cherished memories.Tom was the father of daughter, Laura Casey and son-in-law Tim Casey, whom he loved as a son, and his son Mark Surchik. He was a proud and loving grandfather to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He found great joy in every moment he spent with his family.Tom was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where his faith grew continually. He loved God and lived with kindness towards other.Tom deeply missed his wife, Barb, who passed away only two months earlier. He is now happy, healthy and safe reunited with Barb and in the presence of God. We will miss Dad deeply, but have comfort in knowing he is at peace and we will see him and Mom again.
