Virginia Ann Johnson, 95, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on May 31, 2026. She was born on March 31, 1931, in Dallas, Texas, at Methodist Hospital to Alvin Joseph Clonts and Jesse Barnes Clonts. A 1948 graduate of Grand Prairie High School, she married Walter Kelman (Kelly) Johnson on April 1, 1952. Ann began her career as a teller at Grand Prairie State Bank. She later worked as a secretary at Gifford Hill Pipe Company and retired from LTV after 32 years in the office of employment. She was a resolute member of First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, active in Sunday School, the food pantry, Master Builders group, and the Bereavement Committee. She was also a longtime member of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Good Times Chorus in Arlington, Texas, serving for more than 50 years. She loved her family, her church, cooking, and shopping. She is survived by her daughter, Stefani Johnson (Kroschel) Fischer, and her husband, David; her son, Ken Johnson, and his wife, Jane; her grandchildren, Jessica Laskaris and her husband, Athan, Clay Kroschel, Kyle Johnson and his wife, Keri, and Austin Kroschel and his wife, Hayley; her great-grandchildren, Niko and Eliana Laskaris, Fayette Johnson, and Farron, Collins, and Claire Kroschel; her sister, Mary Brown, and husband, Bill; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
