Ms. Virginia C. Lerma, age 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 25, 2026. Born on November 6, 1935, she had been a resident of San Jose, California, since 1962. She was the beloved widow of Raul T. Lerma, who preceded her in death on September 18, 1977.
Virginia is survived by her five children: Norma Molina, David Lerma, Victoria Santiago, Raul Lerma Jr., and Anthony Lerma. She is also survived by her brothers, Manuel and Jesse, and her sister, Angie.
She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services
Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Rosary will follow at the same location from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A second visitation will take place at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the Committal Service from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
