Virginia L Johnson passed away peacefully, on Tuesday August 11, 2026, with much of her family surrounding her. She was 90 years old.
Virginia was born February 19, 1936, in New York to the late Francis Raven and Marion Haslam Raven.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Francis Raven and Marion Haslam Raven, her daughter Wendy J Luckado, daughter-in-law Eula Sue Johnson, and many beloved dogs.
Virginia leaves behind three children Jeanette Raven, John Johnson, and Donna Bradford (Gary), many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, siblings Russell Raven (Opal) and Nancy Raven Smith (Brad), and many nephews and nieces.
Virginia spent many years promoting antiques shows, worked at the Washington Post, and was heavily involved in the breeding and showing of AKC dogs.
Virginia’s later years were filled with family and many friends, lots of Bingo, and learning and creating various crafts.
A Graveside service for Virginia will be held September 19, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Cemetery 286 Kenwood Avenue, Delmar, New York 12054.
