Wanda Mae Holmes, 77, of Trinity, North Carolina, passed on August 22, 2026. Born March 13, 1949, in Guilford County, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Loyal and Mary Lou DeHart.Wanda worked as a truck driver, a life of steady responsibility and long miles that reflected her commitment to providing and persevering through the demands of each day.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Holmes; and her brother, Michael DeHart.She is survived by her son, Kevin Kivett and wife Lisa; her daughter, Angie Mullins; her grandchildren, Regan Sheriff, Kagan Hughes (Andrew), and Kierra Kivett (Jordan Burchett); and her great grandchildren, Lucy & Ellie Hughes. Wanda is also survived by four brothers and one sister.The family is under the care of Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations of Thomasville.
