Waurine Elizabeth Moore Keefe, age 96, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1929 in Mobile, Alabama. Waurine attended St. Vincent Catholic School and was a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School. She worked at the First National Bank for 21 years before moving with her husband, Donn, to Pueblo, Colorado. Waurine spent most of her life in Stone Mountain, Georgia where she worked as a secretary for Wilsonart.
Waurine is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann Moore Jordan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Donn Edward Keefe, her parents, Linwood Pendleton Moore, Sr. and Mary Frances Norville Moore, and her siblings, Linwood Pendleton Moore, Jr., Frederick Norville Moore, Sr., Miriam Moore Cunill, Honor Elizabeth Moore and Gloria Moore Dolan.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at LIttle Flower Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Haven Nursing Home, the staff at Mobile Infirmary Hospital, and the nursing staff at The Retreat, Hospice by Saad.
