Wendy Jean Berio age 65 passed away peacefully at home on September 4th, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Without a doubt she was a fighter.She was born in Weymouth Ma. and the loving daughter of Nicolas Berio and Madeline Berio.Wendy was a talented wood carver and an old school hippie. Some of her work has been seen around the world. She loved nature and her beloved pets. She was a graduate of Fisher Collage, and a member of the Bay Alliance Church of Buzzards Bay.She will be missed by her friends, sister Donna Hiesler and husband Rick, her longtime partner Ken Duffie and Best Friend Rod MacLeod.Her family would like to extend their gratitude to Old Coloney Hospice; they are truly special people. There will be a private memorial. Arrangements are by Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745.
