William Dow

William Dow passed away suddenly on July 10th, 2025.

William, better known as Bill, was a devoted husband for 48 years and leaves behind his wife Judy McInnis. He was a dependable son to his mother Joan and late father Ivan. He was a beloved father to Pamela (Shawn), Peter (Karine), David (Audrey), Paige (Yves), and Jennifer (Andrew). He adored his 11 grandchildren and loved his three siblings, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

A truly selfless man, he lived each day putting others first including cherished pets. Bill was the kind of person who showed up, gave his all, and loved with everything he had. He was a familiar face you would meet often on the road always with a friendly salute. He was known for his goofy sense of humour and contagious laugh. Bill worked hard his entire life and he always made time to stop in for a chat with friends and family, including his lifelong trusted sidekicks Osbert Harrison (Sharon) and Walter Woodman (Maggie). He took pleasure and pride in his latest project working hand in hand with Judy and many close friends renovating the “little house”.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength. Though our hearts are broken, we come together to honor the incredible life he lived and the love he gave so freely.
