Wylie Tremnal Hair Jr.

Wylie T. Hair, Jr., age 84 of Wilmington, NC went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2026.

He was born in Columbia, SC on August 26,1941 to Wylie T. Hair, Sr. and Frances Bates Hair.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Judith Glasoe.

Wylie had a distinguished career in Sales Management, first as an officer for Pitney Bowes and later in office equipment sales. He was a founder and CEO of INTEK Labs that was sold to PPD. He was a lifelong member of Boylston Masonic Lodge in Columbia, SC.

After retirement, he enjoyed living on the coast of NC and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann (Krol) Hair; daughters: Michele (Aaron) Gardner, Lauren (Jared) Kirk, Mary Hair, Debbie (Frank) Castanha, Christine Hair, Cindy (James) Boyd and Sandy (Tara) Butler; grandchildren: Blakely and Banks Kirk, Jake and Ava Castanha, Brian Kaleh and Jamie Elrod; four great grandchildren and sister: Susan (Gil) McLemore.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Coble Funeral Service, 1155 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington, NC. The Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Davis Community for their kindness and care as well as the staff at the Lower Cape Fear Life Center for their guidance, support and gentle care.
