Yolanda Foster Morales

16 août 2026 Cowansville, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Yolanda Foster Morales, 74, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2026. Born February 27, 1952 to Prudencio and Librada Foster. Yolanda was a devoted and hardworking woman who spent much of her life as a bookkeeper, often sacrificing family time, vacations, and personal rest to fulfill her responsibilities. She was a very private and reserved person who preferred to keep to herself, but beneath her quiet nature was a deeply caring heart.

She loved her family dearly and was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone she loved, asking for little in return. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading, especially the novels of Danielle Steel, which offered her an escape from the demands of everyday life.

In the last 4 months after retirement, Yolanda began to quickly decline from the terrible disease of dementia, which took away many of her memories and abilities. Yet, even as dementia changed so much, it could not take away her love for her grandchildren. She continued to remember their birthdays and how old each of them would be. Yolanda lived a quiet life devoted to work and family, and she will be remembered for her strength, sacrifice, generosity, and the deep love she carried for those closest to her.

Yolanda is survived by her sons, William Foster (Herendida) and Jose Pedro Morales III; her grandsons, Mathew, Marquise, and William J; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and her sister, Ernestina F Butkus (Gregory). She was preceded in death by her parents Prudencio L. and Librada C Foster.

A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on August 25, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
