Howard Sherry, age 82, of Manalapan, New Jersey, passed on July 1, 2026. He was born on September 2, 1943 in Hartford, Connecticut.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on July 2, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Friends and extended family should arrive between 10:15am - 10:45am for the 11:00am funeral service.
The burial will immediately follow at 12:30 pm at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, New Jersey 08830.
Shiva will be observed at the residence of Howard and Sheila on Thursday after the burial until 5:00 pm and also from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm with a minyan at 7:00pm; on Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; on Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and also from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm with a minyan at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's memory may be made to Lustgarten Foundation (www.lustgarten.org), Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (www.mskcc.org), and/or Temple Beth Shalom (www.templebshalom.com/tbs-donation-opportunities).
