At the MDA-MA in Maniwaki, on July 6, 2026, Mr. John Albert McConini, beloved husband of Mary Ottawa, passed away at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Frank McConini and the late Nelly Florence Dekanti.
Besides his loving wife, Mr. McConini leaves to mourn his children: Peter, Christine, and Eric; his grandchildren: Charleene, Amanda, Léon, Mick, Keita, Whiteduck, Ryan, Jade, and Chassity; and his great-grandchildren: Tanyah, Cashmen, Mason, Zayne, Tagwage, Tawashin, Brodyn, Oaklyn, Odynn, Anna, and Onimikins.
He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Hector, Victoria, Patrick, Albert, Daisy, Daniel, Norman, Joan, Lula, Wavier, and Jimmy; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clifford, Joe, Sam, Allen Jocko, and Betty; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Mr. McConini will lie in state at Kitigan Zibi Funeral Home (91 Kichi Mikan) from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Viewing is for family only.
The Brunet Funeral Cooperative, located at 19 Principale Street North, Maniwaki, entrusted with the funeral arrangements, extends its sincerest condolences to the bereaved family.
