Lila B Stern

Lila B. Stern, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, friend and dog lover, died peacefully and on her own terms August 31, 2026, at Huntington Hospital. She was 95.Lila was born April 2, 1931, in the Bronx. She was married for 51 years to the late Irving “Red” Stern, and together they built a life filled with family, travel and friends.She loved driving, bridge, steak (medium-rare), and a good joke.Lila leaves behind her children, Laurie (Dan) and Glenn (Daphne); her grandchildren, Leo, Gabriel, and Tiko (Bri); and her great-grandchildren, Aniyah and Matiox. She shared a million laughs and wonderful parents with her brother, Richard Lapkin, and her sister, Beth Keiser. She also leaves nieces, nephews, and friends who adored her.
