Michael Ray Bean

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear sweet brother, "Mikey" at home on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. He was 70 years old. He attended Doyle High School. He was the most hard working person we ever knew. He would do anything for anybody. Mikey loved cleaning and scrubbing everything spotless. He loved mechanics and was forever working on lawn mowers. Mikey was friendly with everybody. He never met a stranger. He would strike up a conversation with anybody he came in contact with. It's going to be very hard to let him go. We all loved him dearly. He was always there for us and we were always there for him. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Maxine Bean; and his beloved sister Sue Jones. He is survived by his two sons, Corey and Jeremy Bean; sister, Sandy Siers; brothers, Bill Bean and Jim Bean (Jeanne); cousin, Linda Bean; brother-in-laws, George Siers and Mike Jones; and niece, Kathy Jones; nephew, Sean Siers. The Family will have a Receiving of Friends on August 19, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701 on August 20, 2026, at 1:00PM for a graveside service.
