Sharon Jessie Williams

Pekin ~ Sharon Jessie Williams, 82, of Pekin, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.

Born July 5, 1943 in Peoria to John and Jesse (Tudor) Antrim, she married Gene Cameron Williams, Jr. on June 30, 1962 in Pekin. She was a devoted homemaker, passionate about her faith and in winning souls for Christ. She took pride in growing in her knowledge of the Bible. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Pekin and for several years served at Faith Baptist Christian School as a secretary, working in the lunchroom and teaching several classes. She enjoyed archery in earlier years, was an avid reader and enjoyed studying family history through Ancestry. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Larry Sauter and Pastor Chip Herbert will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 1501 Howard Court, Pekin, IL 61554.
