The MAISON FUNÉRAIRE LEBLANC informs of the death of Mrs. Simone Cormier on May 8, 2026. She was 91 years old, resident of Cap-aux-Meules and originally from Havre-Aubert, Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
She was the wife of the late Arthur Leblanc, mother of Johanne (Yvon), Lilianne, Josette (Paul), Jocelyne (Denis), Ghislain, Guy (Guylaine) and Pascal (Nathalie). She had 5 grandchildren: Éric (Laura), Marie Gil (Vincent), Philip, Beatrice, Fabrice and 3 great-grandchildren: Alice, Julia and Lou. She was the sister of Elmyre, the late Émilie and the late Léo-Paul.
She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Philomène, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home of Cap-aux-Meules on Friday, August 14, 2026, from noon. The funeral will follow at 4 pm at the Notre-Dame du Rosaire de Fatima church and burial at the local cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be expressed through a donation to the Parish of Notre-Dame du Rosaire de Fatima, 709 Chemin des Caps, Fatima (QC) G4T 2S9.
