Anthony “Tony” Brett Greenhalgh, 60, passed away at 12:41 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.He was born August 18,1965 in Pekin to Charles Edward and Vera May (Rakestraw) Greenhalgh. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Amanda Reese and two brothers, Gregory and Jeff Greenhalgh.Surviving are four children, Brett Englebrecht of Pekin, Madison (Levi Miller) Thomas of Mattoon, Jake Greenhalgh of Peoria and Rachel (Adam Wathen) Greenhalgh of Wells, Nevada and one brother, Michael Greenhalgh of New York.Tony worked for Peoria Plastic Company for many years and previously worked as a sand blaster.He loved to be outdoors, especially going fishing and mushroom hunting and he enjoyed listening to rock ‘n’ roll music.A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a late date.
