Pekin ~ Buddy Chism, 76, of Pekin, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Pekin Manor.Born December 24, 1949 in Pekin, he was the son of Wilburn and Virda Lee (Hubbard) Chism.Surviving is one daughter, Kili and two brothers, Dean (Ronda) Chism of Creve Coeur and Linton (Roberta) Chism of South Pekin and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Quinton Chism.Buddy last worked in construction in St. Louis Prestress and Keller Construction.Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. No services or visitation are planned.
